Meet Sadie! This sweet 1-year-old, 13-pound Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix (our best guess!) is a gentle little girl with a tender heart who is looking for a patient, loving family to help her blossom.
Sadie is a smart girl and a quick learner! She has already learned how to walk on a leash with a harness and continues to make progress as she adjusts to the world around her. She has a wonderfully gentle nature, rarely barks, and has shown no signs of aggression.
Sadie can be shy and nervous around unfamiliar people, larger dogs, and new situations. When she feels overwhelmed, her instinct is to freeze rather than react. Loud noises, busy streets, and traffic can be especially frightening for her, so she would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
What Sadie needs most is someone who understands that building trust takes time. A calm, patient adopter who will give her the space, reassurance, and gentle encouragement she needs will help this sweet girl gain confidence and feel safe. With consistency, kindness, and lots of love, we believe Sadie has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
