Tobey is a one year old male Schnauzer x Poodle mix as far as we can tell. We suppose that would make him a....Schnoodle? Or some such thing anyway! He is approximately 20 pounds and full grown. Tobey is a sweetheart with a whole bunch of happy energy to spare! He is mostly house trained (not all the way there yet but...he sort of gets it!), good with other dogs, has lived with cats and didn't mind them too much (might need reminding of that fact occasionally), would be good with dog savvy kids, probably 8 and up, and will most definitely cause you to have a regular grooming appointment at the salon down the street - probably every 6 weeks or so. Tobey has been used to a crate before (might need a refresher course) and is basically full of beans and 100% teenage boy. He is going to need basic training of commands and the like, but he doesn't do half bad on a leash! This is optimal as this boy LOVES TO GO WALKING! Despite the fact that he looks like a stuffed animal from the expensive part of the toy store, he is actually a bouncy happy sporty little man who needs an active family. Sure, he will love to chill at the end of the day and do some serious snuggling on the couch, but this is basically a puppy who needs some puppy playtime! As said earlier, Tobey is going to need a regular grooming appointment to keep his handsome hair at its very best (and to prevent matting!) Plan on every 6-8 weeks year round depending on how short you keep him. We are currently taking applications on Tobey.
