Hazel is a four-month old brindle and white puppy with soft, silky brown ears and a perfect dimple. She is smart, boisterous, beautiful, playful, and affectionate! Her favorite thing to do is jump in your lap, unload a barrage of kisses, and roll over for a belly rub!In general, Hazel has puppy energy! She loves to play chase and roughhouse with her foster sister, but once she burns off that energy, sheâs ready for downtime.Hazel does fine sleeping overnight and spending short periods during the day in a crate. Hazel does not appear to have had much experience walking on leash, but she is learning fast. She is a little timid moving around the neighborhood and seeks reassurance that loud noises, cars, people, and dogs are safe. Hazel is smart! She is quickly picking up basic commands like sit, touch, and find it, though sheâll need reinforcing to really dial in all those skills. Like all puppies, Hazel has a mischievous streak when she is bored or has energy to burn, but she takes redirection well.Hazel would do well in an active household that takes full advantage of her playfulness and puts her smarts to work. Sheâd probably do best with regular access to a yard with room to run.
