MEET RUBY DOOBIE DOO
Ruby is an estimated 4 year-old, 90-pound cuddle potato with an even bigger personality. She is goofy, playful, happy, and absolutely loves being around her people. Ruby is the kind of dog who wants to be included in whatever you are doing, whether that means playing with toys, hanging out at home, or curling up close for attention.
She gets along with other dogs, has done well with kids so far, likes her crate, and already knows "sit" and "lay down." Ruby is very food motivated and eager to learn, especially with patience and repetition. She gets into the car easily, though she can be a little unsure during the ride, and her leash manners are still a work in progress. She also loves toys, sometimes a little too enthusiastically, so durable options and supervision are a good idea.
Ruby is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She is still fairly new to foster care, so we are continuing to learn more about her every day, but one thing is already very clear: she is a loving, playful girl with so much personality and affection to give. If you are looking for a big, goofy best friend who doubles as a professional cuddle buddy, Ruby Doobie Doo may be your girl.
All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
