Marilyn (A143462) is a 1-year-and-4-month-old AK Husky who weighed 42.1 pounds on intake! 10/15/26 This shy but affectionate girl is Marilyn! Marilyn was surrendered to the shelter and looking for her new place to call home. She comes from a sled dog background and does well in harness. However, it was noted that she doesn’t love the sled-dog lifestyle and may do better as a pet dog or in a small recreational team. She was previously housed outdoors, so if you plan on transitioning her inside she is looking for someone patient who can help her with potty training and her basic commands. She was said to do well in a kennel and does well with other dogs. Marilyn has no experience with children or smaller critters like cats or pocket pets.
