Hi, my name is Shyla and I am a very sweet little girl. Like my name says I am very shy when I first meet you. The nice people here at the shelter have made me feel very confident, but I am still afraid of new people. Once I get to know you I am very affectionate and love to be held. I am learning to walk on a leash, and do very well on a harness already. I would love to be an inside lap dog.

We are a city ran facility, funded by the city. We are not a no kill rescue. We house the animals until our faciltiy is full. We do our best to get the animals either adopted or into a rescue. This includes sending dogs to out of state rescues.
