Meet Flaxon!Flaxon is a 10-week-old, long-haired tabby kitten with the sweetest little personality. He's an affectionate little baby who still loves to suckle when he's feeling extra cozy. He's soft, snuggly, and absolutely irresistible!Flaxon has three identical siblings (yes, four matching fluffy tabbies!), and they're all waiting for their forever families at PetSmart on Parker and Chambers in Aurora.Flaxon and his siblings have 11 other adorable cats and kittens keeping them company, ready for adoption! That's 15 wonderful little personalities, all hoping someone will walk through the door and fall in love. Even if Flaxon isn't your perfect match, one of his friends just might be.Come see Flaxon and all his friends (who aren’t yet posted on the website) at PetSmart. Please note: You can always see the babies through the glass, but visits are only allowed after an approved application. So if you’re looking to adopt soon and wish to visit, please submit your application and wait for us to contact you so you can actually visit the babies (as opposed to just looking at them through the glass )Please share! Sometimes all it takes is one person seeing one sweet kitten to change a life.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for kittens (6 months & under)
$150 for cats (older than 6 months)
$100 for senior cats (8 years or older)
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here. We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
