NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

NEW INTAKE 10/16/2026: Lumi - male - approx DOB 2/16/2026 - 8.8 pounds - Dachshund/Maltese

Reason for intake: Lumi is another pull from animal control from the recent hoard situation. We have two more coming in next week. That will be 12 dogs we've taken in from that situation. Some went to other rescues as well. Some had to stay at animal control as they work out help for the owners who want some of them back. It's been a process that I've witnessed being handled very professionally by the staff at animal control. Lumi is heading to the vet the week of 10/19/2026 for neutering and everything else he needs. Stay tuned.

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
