Midnight is a demure, silky black kitty looking for a loving home. She is on the shy side but has been warming up with staff and emits a deep purr that shows she is becoming comfortable and happy. Midnight would love a quiet indoor only home as she was found as a stray by a good samartian who saw her being chased by coyotes. Midnight could do well with slow introductions to other cats and cat savvy dogs in her new home as well as respectful children who appreciate her timid nature. Midnight's adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
