Extra toes Toni has an extra toe on each foot = extra loving. She's so sweet and such a lover. Perfect with pets and people. Needs a happy home to cuddle up with. She's a cuddle bug. -from Toni's foster family! Note for adopters: This kitten is overall healthy but has some unique limb differences. On all four paws, she has extra toes. Her extra toes have claws and you may need to trim these if they do not wear down as she scratches on a scratching post. She also has an angular limb deformity affecting her right front limb. You can see this as an abnormal bend in her right front leg. This has been present since she arrived to the shelter as a young kitten. She has been evaluated by a veterinarian several times and her limb has never shown to be painful. The angular deformity changed slightly as she grew, and at one point she began using the limb abnormally (walking on the top of her paw). There was concern she may need the limb amputated. She spent additional time in foster care to monitor her right front limb, and as she has grown, she is now using the limb relatively normally and showing no pain. The right front limb may still change as she grows further, but at this point it is likely she can live comfortably with it and amputation is not recommended. If you notice limping, knuckling, reluctance to jump, or pain when touching her paw, further discussion with a full service vet will be needed.
