Meet Felix and Bindy, a tuxedo boy and a gray-and-white girl who have been navigating life side by side and are finally ready for the best chapter yet: finding their forever home.
These two arrived at TP in mid-July after being surrendered in Kerrville. They were supposed to spend a short time decompressing before heading off to meet their forever family, but life had other plans. Felix and Bindy developed ringworm and spent the next eight weeks going through treatment together. Thankfully, that chapter is behind them, they're all cleared, and they are SO ready to get on with the business of being spoiled house cats.
Felix and Bindy are affectionate, outgoing, playful, and wonderfully nosy. They move through life like a little two-cat team, playing together, sleeping near each other, investigating everything, and making sure neither misses out on whatever interesting thing is happening nearby. They don't necessarily need to be piled on top of each other to know where the other one is. They simply operate as a unit.
These two are enthusiastic participants in everything happening around them. They're curious, interactive, and very conversational, happily meowing to let you know when they'd like pets, when dinner is late, or when it's time to play. Their forever family should be prepared for plenty of purrs and frequent feline commentary.
When they're not busy chatting, they're busy playing. Wand toys, spring coils, fuzzy mice, and catnip are all excellent ways to earn their attention. They're energetic, smart, gentle, and full of personality. Once playtime is over, they'll happily settle into a sunny window, cozy heated bed, or perhaps the foot of your bed for a well-earned nap.
Both Felix and Bindy enjoy cuddles, being carried around, and a good brushing. They're confident in new places, very outgoing, and easy to get into a carrier. These are not wallflower cats. They're ready to come out, meet you, and get acquainted.
Felix and Bindy lived around other cats from birth until they were about three months old and have had positive experiences with kittens and cats. They're cat-curious and could learn to coexist with other feline friends, but their most important relationship is with each other. They've been together throughout their time at TP, sleep next to each other, play together, and need to find a home together.
They're also food motivated, so unattended meals may be considered an exciting opportunity for feline investigation. Both have excellent litter box habits, use scratching pads and posts appropriately, and permit nail trims, although neither is particularly interested in having their paws fussed over.
After surrender, treatment, and eight long weeks of ringworm recovery, Felix and Bindy are finally ready for the part they've been waiting for: a family of their very own.
If you're looking for two affectionate, outgoing, playful best friends who will greet you with purrs, opinions, and plenty of personality, Felix and Bindy are ready to meet you. Their forever home has been a long time coming, and these two are more than ready to move in.
