He is a medium energy pup who loves running and romping in the yard with his foster siblings and then settling in close to his people. He is looking for a patient, loving home ready to give him the time and encouragement he needs to truly shine.Thatch loves having other dogs around and leans on his canine companions for a little extra confidence, so a friendly dog sibling would be his ideal match. He has done well with dog-savvy cats who move at a calm, easy pace. His sweet and gentle nature would likely extend well to kids too.Thatch is a smart boy who is still learning the ropes but makes great progress with consistency and patience. He is mostly crate trained and does well throughout the day and overnight. He is working on his house training and does best when taken out on a regular schedule every couple of hours, continuing to improve every day. He is building his leash skills and getting better with each outing. In new or overwhelming situations, Thatch can be hesitant which is something a patient handler can easily work with as his confidence continues to grow. This handsome, soft-hearted boy has so much love to give to a family willing to meet him where he is. Could Thatch be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
