Meet Kaido!You know that dog everyone says they want? Yep. He’s standing right here.Kaido is a 38-pound all-black mix who checks a whole lot of boxes. Great medium size? Perfect. Easy to live with? Looks handsome in black? Absolutely. And perhaps best of all—this boy has excellent leash manners! Kaido is a great boy with nice manners and a calm, pleasant presence. He’s the kind of dog who can head out for a walk without turning it into a full-contact sporting event.At 38 pounds, he’s substantial enough for adventures but still an easy size to manage.So what's the catch?Honestly, we can't find one. But Kaido does have one unfortunate strike against him: he’s black.Black dogs are often overlooked in shelters, sometimes simply because they don't photograph or catch people's attention as quickly as lighter-colored dogs. And that's a shame, because Kaido's sleek black coat is actually stunning. His good looks may be understated, but spend a little time with him and his wonderful manners do the talking.Don't let his color make him invisible.If you've been saying, “I want a medium-sized dog with good manners and who walks nicely on leash,” Kaido would like to point out that he's literally right here.Give this black beauty a chance to be seen.
