FEBUARY 2026
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
ERIN YEAGER and his 2 siblings (ARMIN ARLERT and LEVI ACKERMAN) had a rough life. They were brought into the shelter as tiny kittens. We rescued them and sent them to a foster. But she kept them for a long time and returned them unsocialized. They deserved a chance to be adopted. And this boy has come a long way.
Meet ERIN YEAGER, the gentle giant with a heart as big as his fluffy Maine Coon exterior. True to his breed's "gentle giant" nature, ERIN YEAGER is a stunning boy who simply needs a patient, quiet home where she can take her time getting to know you.
Though he can be a bit skittish and reserved at first, ERIN YEAGER's sweet, affectionate side shines through with a little time and understanding. His journey to trust is one that is incredibly rewarding. As he settles in, he'll slowly emerge from his shell, blossoming into a loving companion who adores gentle head scratches and soft pets.
ERIN YEAGER's favorite quiet time activity is to sit on his person's feet, a subtle way of showing his affection and feeling close to you. He also lives for treats and sees them as the ultimate sign of friendship. If you are someone who enjoys quiet companionship and finds joy in small victories, watching ERIN YEAGER's confidence grow will be a truly magical experience.
In a home with other feline friends, ERIN YEAGER truly thrives. He has a wonderful, friendly disposition with other cats and would love a confident cat companion to show him the ropes and help his feel more at ease. This big, beautiful boy is looking for a patient human who will give him the space he needs to feel safe, while cherishing the quiet moments of connection he offers in return.
If you're ready to welcome a loyal, treat-loving Maine Coon into your life and provide him with the gentle, loving home he deserves, apply to meet ERIN YEAGER today.
ERIN YEAGER is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MAINE COON TUXEDO MIX. He is about 3 years 4 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around dogs or young children.
ERIN YEAGER is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California
