It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
SIRIUS BLACK and his 3 siblings (LILY POTTER, JAMES POTTER and BELLATRIX) were found in the back yard in San Jacinto, California. The owner of the home trapped mom got her fixed and released her back into her back yard. Mama cat is very well taken care of. But the owner of the home needed help getting the kittens homes. So, we agreed to help her if she fostered them until we could get them vetted and put at PETSMART. Now they are ready!
Meet SIRIUS BLACK, a playful tuxedo cat from San Jacinto, California whose bold personality is perfectly suited to his striking black-and-white coat. With a name as legendary as his, SIRIUS BLACK lives up to the hype as the big boy of the bunch, always eager to be in charge and set the tone for playtime. His dazzling white whiskers and stylish tuxedo markings give him a dapper look that matches his commanding presence. Whether he’s leading a game of chase or romping around with his toys, Sirius brings energy and fun wherever he goes.
When it comes to mealtime, this guy takes it very seriously! SIRIUS BLACK is a foodie at heart, and his love for his meals might even have him trotting to the kitchen at the sound of a can being opened. He is loud and proud, never shy about letting you know when he’s hungry or in the mood for some excitement. His boisterous nature adds a dash of fun to the household, making sure that everyone knows when he’s around and ready to play.
But don’t let all that rambunctious energy fool you—when the day starts to wind down, SIRIUS BLACK has a softer side. After a good round of playing boss, he loves nothing more than to settle in for some cozy snuggles. He’s the perfect lap cat once he’s all tuckered out, purring contentedly as he nestles up for a snooze. If you’re looking for the best of both worlds—spirited playfulness and sweet cuddles—SIRIUS BLACK is your guy!
He seems to have a special bond with his sister, BELLATRIX, often found playing and exploring the world together. Their dynamic brings a lot of joy, and SIRIUS BLACK shines even brighter with his sister by his side.
Are you ready to welcome this fun-loving, snack-craving, cuddle champion into your family? SIRIUS BLACK is eager to share his big personality with a new pet parent! Could that be you?
SIRIUS BLACK is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TUXEDO MIX. He is about 2 years and 1 month old. He has been around cats, but he isn't very fond of them. He gets along very well with his sister, but they are not bonded. He has lived with children and a dog.
SIRIUS BLACKis currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.
