Meet Smokey!Smokey is described as an affectionate, active pup who loves walks, playtime, fetch, tug toys, car rides, and spending time with his people. Heâs crate trained, reportedly housetrained/pee-pad trained, and already knows several cues including sit, stay, and come.According to his former owners, Smokey can be shy with new people and may need a little time and space to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, his former family describes him as attentive, playful, energetic, and affectionate. Smokey has lived around other dogs, but his interactions with them were fairly limited. He also enjoys chasing birds and squirrels, so his new family should be prepared to manage that enthusiasm outdoors.Our favorite thing from Smokeyâs profile?
