Lacey was born in May, 2025. She's a sweet girl who enjoys belly rubs and chin scritches. She's playful and even tempered. She can be shy at first, but not for long. She gets along very well with other cats.
We want to make adopting easy for you! Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at

She's been waiting 15 days for someone to come get her.

Adoption Fee

Each organization sets the adoption fee for their animals. Adoption fees help cover the cost of this animal’s care as well as allowing the organization to help more animals.
We are a very small 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue group. Our county, Rappahannock County, does not have a public cat shelter, and we operate the only community cat shelter in the county, all done with private funding.
