Meet Tonka!
Hello! I am Minnetonka or Tonka for short. I am a perfect mix of a playful puppy and a lazy old lady. I love to lay in my dog bed or on your lap. But I am still a puppy, so I love to play too!

I love attention from humans and my foster brother. I am good with kids, adults, cats, and dogs. I love every person and animal I meet!
Favorite Things:
I love treats, sticks, toys, and bones. I stop chewing right away if I hear "no."
Smarty Pants:
I learn fast. I know how to sit and I listen when you tell me "no."
Mealtime:
I eat fast! Some people want me to use a slow feeder bowl, but sometimes I try to knock it over to get my food faster. (I told you I was smart)
Potty Training:
I almost have it down. If I get very excited and have not been outside in a while, I might dribble a little. This will pass soon!
Bedtime:
I go in my kennel with a small treat. I whine for a few minutes, then I sleep all night.
Size & Breed:
I weigh 20 pounds now. My paws mean I might grow to be around 50 pounds. I look like a Heeler and Terrier mix with very expressive ears! My foster mom says I have the cutest little face!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00
