Buddy is a sweet, affectionate 1.5-year-old Puerto Rican Sato weighing about 29 pounds. He loves his walks and outdoor adventures. Afterwards, he is happy curling up beside his person for a nap.

Buddy has been doing wonderfully in foster care and has been working hard on his training. He knows sit, down, walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, and is very food motivated. His foster family has put a lot of time into helping him succeed, and his forever family will need to continue that progress. His adoption includes 3 free training sessions with our trainer to help everyone get off to a great start.

Buddy would do best in a quieter home with an adult who enjoys a slower lifestyle and wants a loyal walking and snuggling companion. He needs to be the only pet and would do best without children.

Buddy is still young and learning, but he has so much potential to become someone's very best boy.
