SHE'S NAMED CHANEL. THE COAT IS HANDMADE. THE MANNERS ARE COUTURE.Some dogs have a coat. Chanel has a COLLECTION — charcoal woven through taupe like the House of Chanel sketched it by hand. The name fits the whole package: couture manners, a private toy-audition process, and a hero's welcome she performs daily. Four years old, about 70 pounds of pure elegance, and freshly graduated from a full year of finishing school (a.k.a. foster care, where — in her family's words — she learned how to be a dog).THE COAT (WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT IT)Charcoal and taupe, swirled together like couture nobody else can buy. Coco herself couldn't have designed it better. Pair it with bouncy ears that turn her trot into a runway walk and a pair of soulful, searching eyes, and you've got a girl who turns heads on every walk.THE TOY SELECTION PROCESSThis is real. Chanel will bring you a squeaky toy and give it ONE diagnostic squeak. Not the one you wanted? She returns it, retrieves another, squeaks again. The audition continues — squeak, assess, repeat — until she presents the winner. She didn't always know toys were fun. Now she curates them.THE HOMECOMINGGarage door goes up and Chanel goes statue-still… except both front feet, which march in place like she's running a marathon entirely below the knees. She holds the pose, vibrating with restraint, until her person walks through the door — and then it's a full hero's welcome.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Sit, paw (delivered with a cheesy grin, no extra charge), lie down, and show your belly — at which point she rolls right overHouse manners she wrote herself: waits for verbal permission before her food bowl, every timeFully housetrained, sleeps through the night, impeccable crate etiquetteWalks politely on leash, snoozes through car rides, curious and calm at homeTHE BEDTIME RITUALMany nights, Chanel waits for the nod before she's allowed up — and then she slides under the covers, lays her head on a pillow, and settles in like a houseguest who fully believes she's human. You will not convince her otherwise. Don't try.WHO SHE'S LOOKING FORA person to be devoted to — entirely. Chanel is a one-and-only kind of girl: she wants to be your whole world and have you be hers. Picture the lifestyle she lights up for — a trail hike, a game of fetch, a movie on the couch with her warm against your leg, slow mornings, quiet evenings. She's not chaos. She's company.THE TRUTHChanel has been waiting on her people since 2024. The world's just been slow to notice — because a year of foster love turned an overlooked girl into the polished, joyful, ready-for-anything companion she was always going to be. She's done the work. She's the finished product. The only thing she's missing is you. Some dogs need training. Chanel just needs the nod.
