Griff is a 2-year-old liver & white Brittany who loves prowling the yard for critters. He loves to play with his chuckit frisbee and does very well at catching it before it hits the ground. He knows sit, stay, come and does not jump. His previous owner sent him to hunting and obedience training and is supposed to be a good hunter. With the way he is in his fosters yard, he sure seems like he would be. He is e-collar trained and has excellent recall. He is a good rider in the car and UTV. He is very well trained and would be an asset to any family.

Hi, I’m Griff and I am full of energy! I am looking for a home that will give me a lot of exercise with a large fenced yard so I can run and chase all the critters. I will also need off leash runs to get my energy out. When I came to my foster’s home, I wouldn’t cuddle at all, but I have learned that I really love to cuddle up on my foster’s lap in the morning while she has her coffee and sometimes in the evening. I sleep in my own bed at night and do not even attempt to jump in my foster’s bed. However, when their grandkids are here, I jump in bed with them and settle next to them for the night. If I would be going to a home that has another dog, they cannot be the alpha or it will not work. If the other dog, wants to play on my terms we will get along just fine. I absolutely love my chuckit frisbee and need this to be thrown at least two times a day if not more. Although I do like to play tug with my chuck it, if you ignore me, I will drop it at your feet so you can throw it again for me. I am a very smart boy.

Griff will need a lot of daily exercise with his new family and a lot of attention. Griff would be most happy in a home that has somebody with him most of the time as he doesn’t like it when he is not with you. There should be a male figure in the household as he seems to be really attached to males. He does not get kenneled when the fosters leave, but they do have a huge fenced in back yard that he roams when by himself. He doesn’t try to climb the four-foot fence or dig under it. He has anxiety and has been put on a daily pill, which has helped him tremendously with his anxiety. He’s been checked from nose to tail and is up to date on all his vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative meds. Now all that’s missing is his Furever Home!

My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me (and other fabulous rescued Britts) in excellent condition for a fabulous new home. You do not need to live in Wisconsin, where I am currently located, to adopt me. NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my forever home.
