Hello! My name is Garth! I was saved from a shelter by the nice lady from Houston Boxer Rescue who said she would find me a great home! Can you believe someone didn't want this cute face? I think I'm pretty cute! I have lots of polka dots and a squishy pink face. I am still very much a puppy which means I have a lot to learn. I am still learning potty training and what I can and cannot chew on, but I hear Boxers are pretty smart so I think I will figure it out with some basic training and patience! Speaking of hearing...I am NOT deaf! I can hear just fine!
I enjoy laying in the green grass and wrestling with my brother! I like to lay down in the grass like a baby fawn deer and be still so nobody can find me. I am a little shyer than my brother, but I still like to run and play with everyone and be near the action! I get along great with the other dogs in my foster parent's home, they have a female Boxer and a small male dog. I am unsure about people in hats and will bark at them, but I am still learning all the sights of outside the shelter. I am a little smaller than my brother, but not by much! People can't hardly tell us apart, but my foster mom knows exactly which ones we are.
When I am done being cute, I like to lay on a big dog bed, or cuddle in your lap! I have been doing great sleeping in the kennel at night and during the day when my foster parents aren't home. My brother and I are sharing a big kennel! Please fill out an application if you think you could be my forever family!
