Skye is a 1-year-old, 25-pound Border Collie/Spitz mix—although her breed is totally a guess! Whatever she is, we know one thing for sure: this girl is pretty darn close to perfect! ❤️
Skye gets along great with absolutely everything. She is a quiet, submissive girl who prefers to avoid conflict and simply goes with the flow. She gets along wonderfully with her foster siblings but never feels the need to be the center of attention. She is laid-back, loving, and incredibly easygoing.
Skye would be perfectly happy as an only dog, where she can soak up all the attention from her family, but she also does great with other dogs.
And here's the really good stuff—Skye is already house broken, walks like a champ on a leash, knows how to use the dog door, and does great in her kennel. Seriously, what more could you ask for? She's basically ready to move right in!
Skye is looking for a calm, loving family who will appreciate her gentle nature and include her in their lives. She would do wonderfully in either a home or an apartment.
If you're looking for a sweet, quiet, well-mannered companion who gets along with everyone and doesn't ask for much except love, Skye just might be your perfect dog!
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
Her adoption fee is $200. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.

Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
