** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. Meet Luna, an adorable Yorkie/Schnauzer mix who is approximately 1 year old and 10 pounds. This little girl is incredibly sweet and affectionate and loves being close to her people. She has a gentle, loving personality and is always happy to soak up attention and affection.
Luna is currently living in a foster home with other small dogs and cats and interacts nicely with everyone. She would be a great fit for a home with other friendly pets or one where she can enjoy being the center of attention.
Luna has a beautiful, incredibly soft coat that adds to her scruffy charm. Potential adopters should be prepared for the upkeep that comes with it — she will need frequent brushing and regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and free of mats.
If you’re looking for a small, affectionate companion who gets along nicely with both dogs and cats, Luna may be your girl.
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® Heartworm Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.
Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
