Just one look at Beau's face and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him. Those soulful eyes...those adorable floppy ears with their soft feel and all that extra Hound dog skin that you know he will grow in to and be a gorgeous adult boy. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies to a Momma dog who is a Golden Retriever mix and just was adopted on 9/18. We have to believe that Dad was handsome traveling Hound mix that will influence Beau's ultimate size to be 65 pounds as an adult. He is a chunky boy now at 13 weeks and weighing 26 pounds. Born around the middle of June this boy and his momma and siblings were just being raised in the outdoor area at the border of the woods and a home with a flatbed trailer that was parked in the backyard. That was their cover from the rain and storms of summer. Momma did well and finally someone was told of their desperate plight and took all 8 puppies and momma in to her carport area to get good food and care. Critter Cavalry Rescue soon was contacted and stepped in. Now this handsome puppy who is quiet and observant of life, is looking for his soulmate family to spend the next 12+ years with. He is so cuddly and melts in to your body when you pick him up after a long day of his playing and adventuring. He is a seeker of nature and loves to check out the things in life that make him curious and intrigued. He is a chunky monkey that just relaxes in your arms when you hold after a long afternoon of playing and hunting for the bugs and critters in the backyard. He in a very attentive and caring foster home with other large dogs who adore his laidback personality. They are crate training him and he is catching on FAST on the potty training too. He knows the drill and if you are both in tune with each other you will find him 100% responsive to knowing how to take it outside. He is destined to be a solid and heavy boy but not necessarily tall. His Golden momma and possibly Hound dad will make him the mellow light yellow boy that will make a mark on your family life. Beau is great with children as he has attended birthday parties for young children and loved the attention and being held. Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain—he's absolutely perfect just the way he is.Beau is everything you hope for in a puppy. Curious. Joyful. Smart. Affectionate. He's already using pee pads like a champ when he can't make it outside, and he's beginning to learn about crates, leashes, and all the exciting adventures that come with growing up.
