Meet Shadow!Hi, I’m Shadow! I’m a fun, playful, and affectionate guy who loves toys, walks and car rides. I love sleeping with you in bed and getting lots of attention. I’ve lived successfully with other dogs, but I also really enjoy one-on-one time with my people and being all yours to love. Shadow is required to go to a home without children under 12 due to a history of guarding high-value items and sensitivity to restraint or handling. He may grumble or vocalize when uncomfortable, so he’ll need a patient home that can respect his boundaries and continue positive training. Shadow also pulls very hard on leash and will need continued leash training. A front-clip harness or similar equipment may help while he learns. He can be vocal when seeking attention and may bark at other dogs, so a calm, structured environment will help him succeed. An in-shelter meet and greet with any dogs in the home is required to make sure everyone is a good match.
