We typically respond within 24 hours if you do not hear from us after completing the application please send us an email adopt@almosthmenm.org Approximate DOB 10/4/2024 – 30 lbs History: Nova was dealt a bad hand in life A friend of ours saved her from just a bad situation. A client of hers had her for 2 years keeping her locked in a crate every day for 10-12 hours at a time since she was a puppy. When our friend saved her she had a UTI from not being able to go out regularly to do her business. She is now with our friend who is fostering her until her happily ever after can be found.
Current Behavior: Very smart and learns quickly. Perfect recall, knows sit, stay, and paw. She is very attentive to her person and so loyal just wanting to be with you all the time. Knows fetch and how to go get her ball when you ask for it. Loves learning new tricks. She did have some food insecurities when our friend got her but now knows to wait until she puts the bowl down and gives her the command to eat - before she would just go all nutty and knock the food over to eat super fast. Loves car rides and meeting new people. Just a really sweet wonderful dog.
Housetraining- perfectly house trained Dogs- Loves playing with other dogs. Her ideal home is a loving, active family who just wants a smart, sweet girl to love. Get your application in quick as she is just so pretty smart and sweet that whoever adopts her will be getting an amazing little girl with a wonderful temperament and the intelligence to go along with it. She is Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog (heeler), and German Shepherd and seems to have the best qualities from all 3.
Spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations Adoption Fee $250 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Adopters must make arrangements to come out to meet and complete the adoption. org Dogs are seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to to the meeting. Steps for adoption: Read bio, complete the application, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, we will schedule an appointment, and then directions will be emailed to you. Adoption fees are cash only. If you would like to provide toys and snacks for the dogs in our care while they wait for their happily ever afters we would truly appreciate it.
