Hi, I’m Packs! I’m a sweet, happy, easygoing 7 month old lab mix baby boy!

Let’s start with the most important thing: I LOVE TOYS. If it squeaks, crinkles, rolls, bounces, or can otherwise be considered a toy, I want it. I feel like you should want it too… Apparently, I’m supposed to put my toys away. I have decided this is not my job. I’ll leave my entire collection scattered throughout the house so everyone can admire my treasures. You’re welcome.

I’m potty trained, kennel trained, and I sleep quietly through the entire night. I don’t know “sit” yet, but I’m pretty sure we can negotiate a deal. You give me snacks, I learn things. Seems fair to me.

I absolutely love being outside and enjoy exploring. Water doesn’t bother me either! I’m not necessarily saying I’m ready to become a professional swimmer, but I’m certainly not going to panic if my paws get wet.

I’m a big fan of soft places to lay down, shady spots, and peaceful, quiet areas. If it’s comfortable, I’m interested.

I LOVE OTHER DOGS. I’m amazing with my canine friends and am happy to share my space and have some fun. I’m also incredibly gentle with young and small kiddos, and I love meeting people. I’m a professional sweetheart.

Cats are a little harder to give you a definite answer on. I haven’t officially lived with one, so my foster family can’t say for sure how I’d do. I do bark at the neighbor cat, though, so my official position is: “Further investigation required.”

I have a few very important Lab-mix hobbies:

• I occasionally get curious about what’s happening on tables. There could be something fancy up there! A mystery! A snack! A secret!

• I have been known to casually walk away with shoes because, well… I am a Lab. It’s practically in the employee handbook.

-Deapite all my adventures, I’m actually a remarkably quiet guy. The only noises I regularly make are little noises when I yawn.

At the end of the day, though, what I really want is pretty simple:

I want people.

I’m a very sweet boy who loves everyone, loves being included, loves having fun, and is happiest when he gets to be near humans. I’ve got the playful puppy energy you’d expect from a 7-month-old, but I also know how to settle in for a cozy nap and enjoy the quiet moments.

So if you’re looking for a loving Lab mix who will fill your home with toys, steal the occasional shoe, make adorable yawning noises, and give you approximately a million reasons to smile… Hi. I’m Packs. I think we might be a really good match.
