His favorite things in life are chin scratches, cozy squishy dog beds, and long, peaceful naps. While he's not the biggest fan of spending time in a crate, he'd be delighted to trade it for a comfy lap where he can relax close to his favorite person.
Peloche understands that potty time happens outside and is doing well in his foster home. During this transition period, a belly band has helped manage a few nervous tinkles as he settles into a new routine. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys spending time with his people, and was a perfect gentleman during bath time with his foster family.
New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
