Meet Diva – A gentle heart hoping for a second chance with her sister Frankie!
Name: Diva (Domestic Longhair, Tortoiseshell)
DOB: March 31, 2022 (4 ½ years old)
Health: Spayed, Rabies and FVRCP current, FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped
Personality: Affectionate and Calm with an Independent Streak
System Number: T-ECH5R-22
A Little Backstory:
Diva and her bonded sister, Frankie, were adopted from Cat Matchers as kittens and lived with their owner for almost four years. In April 2026, their owner lost her home and experienced serious financial hardship, forcing her to return the girls through no fault of their own.
Although losing the only home she had known was a difficult adjustment, Diva soon realized she was safe and began settling into her new surroundings.
Personality:
Diva is a sweet, peaceful girl with an independent streak. She enjoys gentle cuddles and pets, makes excellent biscuits, and is happiest when she has a comfortable bed, a high perch, or a window where she can watch the world. Her foster mom and the staff at The Cat Connection have even caught her playing when she thinks no one is watching!
Diva may be slightly more independent than Frankie, but she shares a close bond with her sister. The girls are currently staying together in the adoption room at The Cat Connection, where they can meet potential adopters in an environment that feels safe and familiar.
Her View on Life:
Life is best enjoyed from a sunny window or a soft bed, with your sister nearby and someone you trust available for cuddles. Take things at your own pace—and make plenty of biscuits along the way.
Perfect Home:
Diva and Frankie are looking for a calm, patient home where they can remain together and be given time to adjust. They have been around respectful children as young as seven and did well, but they prefer a quieter household. They have also tolerated younger cats, although they were not especially thrilled by their energy.
After losing the home they thought would be theirs forever, Diva and Frankie deserve a family who will make them feel safe, cherished, and home for good.
