This quiet, serious girl is surprisingly calm for her age, with an independent streak balanced by a sweet side that comes out whenever she decides it’s time for some affection. And when it comes to treats, Shadow has standards - she’s a discerning little lady who only wants the good stuff! Despite being just a year old, she’s already impressively well behaved: great on leash, potty trained, polite and interested when meeting other dogs, and ready to learn all the basic commands alongside her new person. If you’re looking for a calm, clever young Lab mix with a little independence and a whole lot of potential, Shadow is ready to be your girl! ❤️

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/4/26 as an owner surrender - but this is through no fault of her own, her owner had personal problems that made them unable to keep her!
-sweet and calm, especially given her age - perfectly chill and mellow, would make a wonderful lowkey companion
-adorably picky about treats - will only accept the good stuff!
