This 9-year-old male dog is in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide continued medical care and support. Radiographs show a fracture of the proximal olecranon, which may extend into the elbow joint. A small bone fragment is also noted along the proximal cranial aspect of the humerus on the right lateral view.He would benefit from a stable, supportive environment where he can receive follow-up veterinary evaluation, pain management, and any additional diagnostics or treatment recommended for his orthopedic injuries. Given his age and the nature of his fracture, continued veterinary care will be important to help determine the best treatment plan and support his comfort and mobility. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care.
