Luna is a beautiful 3 year old pure bred Bengal that had a rough start in her life. Recently rescued from a breeder, Luna spent most of her life in a cage.
Over the past several months in a foster home she has received the love that she deserves and is now ready for a family to dote on her forever.
She loves treats and wet food and will show you her bengal skills when playing with a wand toy. She is grateful for love and will come searching for pets.
She is a talker. Typical for this breed.
She is in a foster home with a dog and other cats but we think she might be happiest if she is the only cat in the home.
She is definitely stunning to look at but if you’re considering adopting a Bengal cat, the biggest thing to know is that they’re high-energy, highly intelligent, interactive cats—not typically low-maintenance lap cats.
Exercise & enrichment: Expect daily interactive play, climbing, puzzle toys, and opportunities to explore. Cat trees, shelves, and even a cat wheel can be useful.
Personality: They’re curious, social, often vocal, and can become very attached to their people. Individual temperaments vary considerably. This describes Luna perfectly.
Training: Many Bengals enjoy learning tricks, playing fetch, and harness walking, making them unusually trainable.
Other pets: They can live successfully with cats or dogs with careful introductions, but their prey drive and territorial tendencies can matter with smaller or timid animals.
Grooming: Their short, silky coats generally require little grooming.
Luna is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is currently at the Petsmart store at 3520 S. El Camino Real in San Mateo.
