At just 9 pounds, Opal may be tiny—but this sweet little mama has spent a whole lot of time taking care of everyone else. Now her puppies are growing up, and we think it’s time someone spoiled her.
Opal is about 5 years old, which might just be the perfect age: young, healthy and spry, but with those puppy shenanigans safely in the rearview mirror.

Her breed? Your guess is as good as ours! She’s a 9-pound mystery mix who appears to have a little Shih Tzu, Poodle and Terrier in the recipe—and a whole lot of adorable.
Her foster family says Opal has the kindest soul. She’s gentle, patient and affectionate, and one of her favorite things is leaning into her person for soft head scratches and quiet cuddles.
She’s done a beautiful job being “Mama.”
Now she’s ready to be somebody’s baby.
Opal is dreaming of a cozy home, a soft bed, plenty of cuddles and a family who will remind her every day that she is loved, safe and finally home for good.
