Meet sisters Amina and Annieâtwo best friends who have been through more than their fair share and are determined to face it all together.These girls have quite the story. This is their second time through the shelter system, after being adopted last year. Theyâve now been returned through no fault of their own, and to say theyâre confused about how they ended up back here would be an understatement. Theyâre sad and stressed, but thankfully, they have their favourite source of comfort: each other.Amina is the braver sister and a total sweetheart. She is incredibly affectionate and would happily accept all the attention you have to give. One of our favourite Amina quirks? She loves to eat while getting pets at the same time! an emotional eater And when sheâs having a drink, she sometimes uses her paw to scoop up the water. Itâs ridiculously cute.Annie is more nervous about being back in the shelter and leans heavily on her sister for reassurance. The two are constantly checking in with one another, staying close and even bathing each other when they need a little comfort. They really are best friends in every sense of the word.These two beautiful girls have already experienced the heartbreak of losing their home once.
