Meet Olivia Pawdrigo and Ricky Meowtin, a bonded brother-sister duo who are ready to bring twice the charm, twice the cuddles and just the right amount of pop-star drama to their forever home.
Olivia is a beautiful silver tabby with golden eyes framed by an adorable white mask. She is the thoughtful, observant half of the pair, happiest watching the action before deciding whether to join in. Once she knows you, though, she is wonderfully affectionate, purring when she sees her people, curling up in laps and settling beside you while you read. She loves wand toys, little mouse toys and anything she can bat around, but she is equally content lounging somewhere cozy with Ricky nearby. Olivia can be shy with new people and in unfamiliar places, and that is where her brother really shines. His confidence helps her come out of her shell, making him the perfect sidekick for a girl who occasionally needs a little "brutal" honesty about whether the new situation is actually scary.
Ricky, meanwhile, is an outgoing orange-and-white tabby with a white patch around his nose, tiny sock paws and enough personality to make every day feel like he is "Livin' la Vida Loca." He loves people, enjoys being picked up and carried around, and is perfectly happy being cradled like a baby while he surveys the world. He is also a serious athlete when a wand toy appears, stalking, pouncing and launching himself into the air with total commitment. When playtime is over, Ricky turns right back into a cuddle bug who adores chin scratches, attention and, most of all, being close to Olivia.
Together, these two are basically their own little buddy comedy. They play hide-and-seek, chase one another around the house, nap curled up together and generally prefer to experience life as a team. Ricky often grooms Olivia and likes to lead the way when she explores, while Olivia keeps him humble by grabbing his tail, refereeing his wand-toy exploits and occasionally reminding him that he does not win every game. Where one goes, the other is usually close behind.
They have both had positive introductions to other cats and small dogs. Ricky tends to take new friends in stride, while Olivia prefers a slower introduction and a little time to observe. With gentle handling and a patient home, they make a wonderfully balanced pair: Ricky brings the confidence and party energy, while Olivia brings the sweetness, cleverness and quiet charm.
Olivia and Ricky are truly bonded and need to be adopted together. If you have been waiting for a pair who can give you "deja vu" every time you catch them cuddling in the same adorable position, plus enough personality to make you wonder whether Ricky is about to start singing "She Bangs," these two may be your perfect match. They already know their favorite place is wherever the other one happens to be.
