Aussie Mix | Puppy | Smart, Energetic & Ready for Adventure!
Eagle may be one handsome little guy, but this boy is going to need way more than a family who thinks he's cute. He's an Aussie mix, and we're already seeing that these puppies are going to be smart, energetic, curious, and ready to GO!
Eagle is looking for a family who wants a best friend, adventure buddy, and training partner — not a puppy who is expected to entertain himself all day.
Let's talk about the reality of bringing home a puppy.
Puppies need TIME.
They need PATIENCE.
They need CONSISTENCY.
They need TRAINING.
They need EXERCISE.
They need MENTAL STIMULATION.
And they need someone willing to stick with them when the adorable puppy stage comes with a little… chaos.
Eagle will need his people to work on:
Potty training
️ Kennel/crate training
Basic obedience
Learning what he SHOULD chew on
Polite greetings
Proper socialization
Mental enrichment
♂️ Daily physical activity
Appropriate outlets for all that puppy energy
❤️ Patience, patience, and more patience!
An Aussie mix is the kind of dog who often wants a job. If you don't give them one, don't be surprised when they create one themselves. And Eagle's idea of a job may involve rearranging your house, stealing your socks, chasing absolutely everything, or deciding your furniture needs redecorating.
He is going to need people who are willing to teach him how to be a good dog.
That means understanding that exercise isn't just throwing a ball for five minutes. His brain needs to work, too! Training sessions, enrichment, sniffing, exploring, learning new things, appropriate play and plenty of interaction will all be important parts of raising Eagle.
And yes… he's going to have puppy moments.
There will probably be accidents.
There will be chewing.
There will be zoomies.
There may be selective hearing.
And there will absolutely be days when you wonder how something so cute can possibly be THAT much work.
But then he'll look at you with those puppy eyes, learn something new, curl up beside you, and you'll realize you're watching an incredible dog being built one day at a time. ❤️
If you're looking for an easy dog who requires very little time or effort, Eagle is NOT your guy.
If you don't have the time to train, exercise, socialize and mentally stimulate a puppy — please don't apply.
But if you're looking at Eagle and thinking,
“YES. I want to raise this boy. I want to train him. I want to take him places. I want to keep his brain busy. I want to give him a job and make him part of our family.”
Then we want to hear from you. ❤️
Because Eagle doesn't need perfect.
He needs committed.
He needs someone willing to put in the work NOW so that someday everyone gets to enjoy the amazing adult dog he's capable of becoming.
Eagle is ready for his people. Are you ready for Eagle?
