Meet Stella! ❤️
9 weeks old • Red Heeler • Female • Professional Yapper & Climber
Stella may only be 9 weeks old, but she already has a BIG personality packed into one little puppy! This sweet girl is affectionate, curious, busy, and always ready to see what kind of adventure she can find next.
True to her Heeler roots, Stella is smart, energetic, vocal, and determined. She loves to climb, explore, play, and let you know exactly what she thinks with her adorable little puppy yaps. She is also not a fan of being locked up and would much rather be out where all the action is.
Stella needs a family who has experience with or has done their homework on Australian Cattle Dogs/Heelers. These are intelligent, high-energy working dogs that need plenty of physical exercise, training, and mental stimulation. Because of Stella's energy level and breed needs, we do not feel apartment living would be appropriate for her. A home prepared to give her plenty of activity and productive outlets for all that Heeler energy will be important.
And remember—Stella is still very much a BABY! She is not housetrained yet, so her new family should be prepared for potty training, accidents, consistency, and patience. She's also discovered that those tiny baby teeth are excellent for nibbling! Hands, clothes, toys... Stella isn't too picky yet. She'll need lots of appropriate chew toys and continued training to teach her what those little shark teeth are—and aren't—for.
Stella is incredibly sweet and has so much potential. In the right home, with someone ready to put time into training, exercise, socialization, and enrichment, we think she's going to grow into an amazing companion.
❤️ If you're looking for a quiet little couch potato, Stella probably isn't your girl.
But if you're ready for a smart, active, slightly sassy little redhead who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Stella might be exactly who you've been looking for!
