rief Bio: :Rocket is one of three bottle-fed littermates: Rocket and his siblings, MJ and Peter. The kittens came into foster care at approximately 2 weeks old on July 9 and have been raised in a loving, active home setting. Rocket has grown up with two large dogs, two tween children, and occasional kindergarten-age visitors. He has not had experience with cats outside his litter or with small pets/critters. He and his siblings have free run of the house when the family is home and are safely kept in their own room when no one is home so that they are not unsupervised with the dogs. Rocket is used to cuddling and handling, routine nail trims, and consistent litter-box use. He is very comfortable around the household dogs and enjoys trying to include them in his games.Summary of Personality:Rocket is a very floofy, striking black-and-gray tabby with gray-green eyes and sweet black-tipped ears. He is a bold, energetic, rough-and-tumble boy who plays hard and sleeps even harder. When Rocket is awake, he is ready for action. He enjoys batting around a ball or stuffed mouse, but he is especially excited by interactive play with others. He loves pouncing and rolling around with his siblings, swatting at a dogâs shiny collar, and enthusiastically attempting to entice the dogs into a game. Rocket is confident and curious, though he is still learning that sometimes a dog is ready to take a break from play. When he is done, Rocket becomes a cuddly little teddy bear. He is often found curled up alone in one of the householdâs soft, fluffy dog bedsâquite content to claim the cozy spot while the dogs look on. Rocket would likely thrive with a sibling, another playful kitten or cat, or a home able to provide plenty of interactive play and companionship.
