Meet Mochi Mochi is a handsome 2-year-old solid gray gentleman who is looking for a special person to help him feel safe and loved again. Neutered and ready for his next chapter, Mochi came to us after his owner could no longer care for him.Mochi is a very shy boy, so he’ll need a quiet, peaceful home and plenty of time to adjust. He may take a little while to come out of his shell, but with patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, we hope to see his confidence grow.Because Mochi is easily overwhelmed, he would do best with older, respectful children who understand that he needs to approach things at his own pace. He’s looking for someone who will let him set the pace, give him the space he needs, and celebrate those little moments when he begins to trust.Mochi may not be the cat who runs up to greet you on day one—but earning the trust of a shy cat is incredibly rewarding. With time and love, this beautiful boy could become a cherished companion and finally have the peaceful forever home he deserves.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $50.
