Meet Chrissy, the 6 month old gray and white kitty! She came into the Shelter with two other cats and then gave birth in the Shelter. She has been raising her kittens in foster care for about 2 months. The whole crew is back at the Shelter ready for the purrrfect home. Chrissy has been a little shy here at the shelter, but once she is comfortable with someone, she goes right up to them and is a total purr machine. She would do well in a home where she has the time to decompress and get used to her environment. A home with other cats may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Chrissy is available for preadoption—come meet her, fall in love, and take her home after her spay surgery!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
