Meet Cosette, the calico kitten. Cosette arrived to the Shelter as a stray with her sister Odette. Cosette was initially a little shy but as she settles in, she is warming up to staff and volunteers. She could be adopted with her sister Odette but is not required to. If adopted together, their adoption fee is 2 for 1. Cosette would likely do well in a variety of homes. Any resident animals should be introduced in a slow, thoughtful manner. Cosette should be indoors only moving forward to keep her safe (as well as our local wildlife). Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
