Ellie and Zoey are sweet 8-year-old sisters who have spent their lives together, and we're hoping to find a special home where they can stay that way.
Although they're sisters, these two beautiful gray tabbies each have a personality all her own.
Ellie is the more outgoing of the pair. She's a short-haired, light gray tabby who enjoys attention and is usually the first to venture out and say hello once visitors arrive. She loves being petted—and she'll even roll over and invite you to rub her belly! Ellie is sweet, affectionate, and happy to soak up some love from her people.
Zoey is Ellie's long-haired sister, a gorgeous dark gray tabby with adorable white feet. She's the more cautious of the two and likes to take her time deciding that a new person is safe. She may hide when someone new arrives, but patience is the key to this sweet girl's heart. Once she's comfortable, Zoey enjoys being petted and brushed and has a gentle, loving nature.
Together, Ellie and Zoey enjoy a pretty peaceful lifestyle. They're indoor-only, litter trained, and perfectly content spending much of their day napping, with a little playtime sprinkled in. They've successfully lived with a dog in the past and can also do well with other cats who aren't aggressive.
Most importantly, Ellie and Zoey have been together since they were adopted through CVRR in 2018. After eight years side by side, we would very much like to find a home where these sisters can remain together.
For someone willing to give Zoey a little time to settle in, you'll get the best of both worlds: Ellie's welcoming sweetness and Zoey's quietly earned affection. And you'll have the joy of knowing that two sisters who have always had one another get to stay together for the next chapter of their lives.
