#A5787371 Val
is a 3-year-old, 29 lb neutered male Schipperke mix with a gentle, sensitive soul. Found as a stray and terribly matted, this poor little guy has been through a lot already. So, it’s understandable that he is fearful in the shelter. Val needs someone willing to go slow and let him build trust at his own pace.
Think of him like a cat — give him space and let him come to you. Once Val feels safe, he seeks affection and shows his sweet side. He's calm, housebroken, and walks nicely on a leash. An experienced, adults-only home where he can decompress would be perfect for this deserving boy.
Val had a spa day and all those awful mats were removed. He is certainly feeling much lighter and happier now.
