Meet Snowball
Snowball is a sweet, sassy white kitty with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This affectionate little love bug has been through more than her share of challenges, but she continues to seek out comfort, companionship, and cozy places to snuggle.
Her Story
Snowball first came to the rescue very sick and pregnant. The stress and illness were too much for her, and she sadly lost her kittens. She remained ill for a long time and was eventually diagnosed with severe allergies that affect her eyes, nose, and occasionally her gums, while also making her very itchy.
She also arrived with stomatitis, a painful gum disease that led to the removal of all her teeth. Even so, Snowball has adapted well and still enjoys dry food.
Personality and Favorite Things
Despite everything she has endured, Snowball is full of affection. She loves to snuggle under blankets, nap beside her person, make biscuits on soft bedding, and nuzzle or rub up against you for attention.
She has a playful side, especially after a good nap, and enjoys using scratching posts or cardboard scratching pads. She is the perfect mix of cozy companion and spirited little character.
Care Needs
Snowball requires daily allergy medicine, which is easiest to give in wet food.
She needs regular cleaning around her eyes, nose, and ears, as her allergies can cause crustiness even with medication.
She may be a little sassy during medicine time or grooming, so patience and gentle handling are important.
She needs an adopter who can provide attentive care and help keep her fluffy white fur clean and shiny.
Ideal Home
Snowball tolerates other cats but would prefer to be the only cat in the home. With the right patient and understanding adopter, she may eventually open up to a housemate or another animal friend.
Her ideal home is calm, loving, and patient, with someone who can give her the daily care she needs and the affection she deserves.
