Meet Sarafina
Those big brown dopey eyes pretty much tell you everything you need to know about Sarafina.
At about 13 weeks old, Sarafina is a sweet, silly, loving puppy who looks much more Lab than anything else to us—although, like most good rescue dogs, her actual family tree is anybody's guess.
In her foster home, Sarafina has quickly decided she's large and in charge. She's confident, curious and happily inserts herself into whatever is happening. But underneath all that puppy bravado is an incredibly affectionate girl who loves being close to her people.
She's playful, goofy, a little dopey, and still figuring out how the world works. She'll need all the normal puppy things—training, structure, patience, exercise and plenty of love—but she's already showing us what a wonderful dog she's going to be.
Sarafina spent part of her puppyhood growing up in a shelter. She was at risk for euthanasia for a skin issue - her fur is almost back in and she is healing quickly. Now she's learning about life in a home, and she's embracing it wholeheartedly.
If you're looking for a sweet, confident, slightly ridiculous little black Lab-ish mystery mutt to grow up with, Sarafina might just be your girl.
