Chai is a gentle, soft-spoken senior lady (8 years young) who proves that the quietest souls often have the biggest hearts. She may take a little time to warm up — the world can be pretty scary — but once she does, you'll feel like the most special person in the world.
The quickest way to Chai's heart? Good, strong head scritches. Put out your hand and she's sure to head butt your hand, close her eyes, and circle back and forth for more until your hand tires out.
Because Chai has no teeth (poor girl had dental disease when she came to Kitten Snatchers), Chai is prone to the most adorable bleps! These little tongue-out moments will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face! But don't worry -- even without teeth, Chai eats dry and wet food just like any other cat.
Chai's ideal home would be with a calm, patient adopter who understands that shy cats just need a little extra time. She came to us from a home with a lot of other cats and would do really well with a kitty friend to help boost her cat confidence. If you're looking for a low-key, sweet-natured companion who will repay your patience with a lifetime of quiet devotion, Chai is your girl!
