Irving is a charming little tripod with a big personality and a raspy little "smoker's meow." This mellow fellow has been through the ringer with a fractured leg that required amputation, and severe dental disease that left him toothless. Now, he’s looking for a peaceful home.
Like many cats, Irving prefers people who notice and respect his boundaries, and it can take him a little extra time to warm up to new people. One thing that helps him feel especially secure is having a cat buddy. He’s been enjoying the company of his foster’s resident cat — following him around, snoozing and watching the world together — and would do best in a home with a confident cat to help him settle in and feel comfy.
Irving enjoys playing, despite being having only three legs, and has become quite the cuddler, too. That said, he can be sensitive about being handled, and will appreciate an adopter who understands cat body language. The daily medication that keeps him comfortable can easily be slipped into his food or given as a treat. This sweet boy will come running for any meal, especially as his foster has been using a clicker to announce mealtimes.
At the end of the day — after meals and play — Irving likes to sleep in bed with his people.
Will you be the person who gives this sweet, toothless tripod the gift of patience, understanding, and love?
Irving is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our
