Meet Lucy: The Sweetheart Social Butterfly Lucy is a 4.5-year-old Jack Russell who never met a stranger. Sweet, playful, smart, and affectionate, she's the kind of dog who makes friends wherever she goes. While her brother Charlie is the loyal sidekick, Lucy is the life of the party. She especially loves children and greets them with kisses, tail wags, and enough excitement to make her whole body wiggle. She's brave about most things, but she'd much rather be safely indoors when the weather gets loud. Lucy is bonded with her brother Charlie, and they've been together since they were very young. They balance each other perfectly, and a home willing to keep them together would be ideal. Charlie and Lucy are 4½-year-old Jack Russell Terriers who have shared life since they were very young. While each has a wonderful personality of their own, together they make an incredible team.Charlie is the loyal lap dog. Once he chooses his person, he's all in. Keeping them together would allow them to continue the special bond they've always shared while bringing double the love, laughter, and companionship into one lucky home. Available dogs are matched with pre-approved adopters only.The application is the first step! Our adoption fee is $300 per dog, which includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip, and other routine veterinary care.Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in Middle Tennessee. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to Tennessee to complete the adoption. Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. We are 100% volunteer powered. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members.
