Tyra is a beautiful, sweet girl around 2½ years old with a silky-soft coat and a gentle personality. She first came to our rescue almost two years ago, very pregnant, and gave birth just a week later. She was a wonderful mama and, once her babies were raised, found a home of her own.

Sadly, after a year and a half with her family, Tyra was recently returned. Her world has been turned upside down, so she’s understandably shy and scared right now and needs someone willing to give her a little time to feel safe again.

Once comfortable, Tyra is incredibly affectionate. She loves attention and will plop down and roll around asking for pets. She’s mellow, well behaved, likes to chat, uses her scratching posts, and is wonderful with adults, children, and other cats.

Tyra isn’t asking for much—she just wants to be loved. It’s her turn to find a family that will truly be forever.
